In Photos: The Queen Of The Night Jona has been crowned and she definitely wowed the crowd!

There is no denying that Jona is one of my favorite singers. More so, she is a very very very dear friend of mine and of course, I wouldn't miss her last concert for the world... Queen Of The Night Jona was her very first concert as a Kapamilya that was held last November 25, 2016 at the Kia Theatre. The show was presented by Star Events, Big Eyes Production, Creative Media Entertainment and PLDT Home. Jona wowed the crowd together with her very talented guests: Daryl Ong, Jed Madela and Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid! Queen Of The Night Jona was indeed a concert to treasure!

I know too well that Jona is a very talented singer and performer, well-deserving of the title as "QUEEN", as I have seen her on stage over and over again... But believe me, I still get goosies every single time! She has staged concerts before on smaller venues but I'm soooo proud that she staged a very successful show in a bigger venue. Well, Kia Theatre was jampacked... full of her supporters, old and new ones, who patiently waited to experience her talent once again.

I witnessed how she poured her heart and soul (well, the entire team behind the concert did!) just to make the show as perfect as possible. And there's no denying that every song performed was beyond thrilling! I bet everyone present in the theatre that night can attest to that!

So, on this blog post, I will share some of the photos I took using my camera, just to share a bit of the magnificent concert moments we all witnessed, felt and experienced that very night. I will not share videos tho, but instead, I encourage everyone to watch her upcoming shows / concerts LIVE, because her talent simply magnifies way above and beyond of what you can ever expect! (Well, if you insist... you can just go to YOUTUBE and search for her concert performances yourself as there are a lot of video uploads from her youtuber fans and supporters)

So, again, for those who missed her last concert, please do watch her next time... Maybe we can all go together for Smart Araneta Coliseum or MOA Arena? Yeah!

And for those who were able to watch the Queen Of The Night Jona concert, let's relive the grandiose coronation of our QUEEN JONA (period).....

Here are the photos taken by my Fujifilm X-M1 with no post-enhancements:

Till I Met JC Santos...

(photo from abs-cbn)

I have been in hiatus for a long while now in attending showbiz events and meeting celebrities.. However, luck came to my favor as I got the chance to meet JC Santos.. A very promising actor who plays the well-loved character of Ali Nicolas in the Kapamilya TV series entiled Till I Met You.

He is definitely a talk-of-the-town, surely because of his outstanding performance of an unconventional role on TV. His talent is shining every night as he continues to impress the TIMYllenials, as they call the avid viewers of the show.

So, here's what happened...

I am chillin’ on a Saturday afternoon last November 5, when I saw a post on Facebook that Jona (yes... the BIRIT QUEEN Jona) will perform a mall show in TriNoma... (which happens to be my “go-to” mall since it’s along the way when I’m travelling from Bulacan to Mandaluyong...) Both Jona and her manager Mommy A are very dear friends to me (almost like family) and it’s been a while since I had a chance to hang out with them. So, I decided to ask if I can tag-along to watch her perform on stage again and to take photos of her too.

(Side Story: my phone is totally broken and I don’t have a decent phone to use, so I decided to buy an early Christmas gift for myself since I badly need a working phone and bought an ASUS Zenfone Max before going to the event venue at TriNoma – yes I know that it’s not the latest Asus flagship phone but hey, it is a phone that fits my budget and decent with its features... Of course, I will post a separate blog entry for my new phone... I just can’t help to share a little teaser for y’all...)

I went straight to the backstage area... and as I went inside the dressing room.. to my surprise I saw JC Santos with his gorgeous smile beaming at me.. All I was able to mutter was a shy “Hi”... Then I went to the inner room where Jona is... She’s still getting ready and glamming-up as it is still a little early for the start time of the show.

Jona and JC Santos staged a mini-Christmas Concert entitled Wrapped Up In Love for the crowd in TriNoma to spread the holiday cheers... Both JC and Jona was able to make everyone feel that Christmas is just around the corner! All the more reason to visit TriNoma mall for fulfill our needs for Christmas shopping for this season of giving.

Here is a photo gallery of both Jona and JC Santos in Wrapped Up In Love show:

Jona is hands-down one of the country’s best singer and I am still in awe every time I watch her perform live... I get shivers down my spine as she belts out her high notes! And this show is no different... She nailed it! (As always!!!)

Surprisingly, JC was never left behind on the show; the guy sure knows how to sing too! I don’t know about him much, but as per checking a little about him online, he is a theatre actor before he went mainstream... With his good looks, massive appeal/charisma and his overflowing seems like I only have good words for JC! And on top of that, he is very humble and approachable... Not everyone in the showbiz industry is genuine like that (if you know what I mean...).

Well, it's not that we got to know each other well on a very short encounter, but I am very happy to have met him in person (that's why I am blogging about it) and I am looking forward to any chance that I may see him, maybe in a blogcon/event in the future.

Keep it up JC... I think you can go far beyond what can be imaginable for you as of now! :)

Of course, I took the chance to get a selfie with Ali... It's definitely a WIN!

I would like to remind everyone to continuously watch Till I Met You weeknights on ABS-CBN after Magpahanggang Wakas, to catch JC Santos!

And of course, I would also like to take this chance to invite everyone once again to watch Jona’s concert entitled Queen Of The Night Jona this November 25 at the Kia Theatre! Get your tickets through or call 911-5555.For more info please check:

A Royal Concert Treat, "Queen Of The Night Jona" in Kia Theatre this November 25!

One of Kapamilya's Birit Queen, JONA marks her name once again in the concert scene as she stages a royal concert treat, entitled Queen Of The Night Jona this November 25, 2016 Friday at the Kia Theatre!

Jona is definitely one of OPM's royalty in biritan and has an acclaimed spot in our music industry for around 11 years now. As of the moment, her career in music continues to grow stronger and I can't be more proud of her! She is one talented gem that should be heard by more and more people across the world! And if you haven't yet, here is the official music video of Jona's version of the song I'll Never Love This Way Again:

She is certainly not a newbie in the concert scene with successful shows like Music and Me (2012) , Jonalyn Dares To Be #Fearless (2014), and Journey Into My Heart (2015) to name a few. On the other hand, Queen Of The Night Jona is still extra special as this will be her first concert as a Kapamilya! This event is presented by Star Events, Star Music, Big Eyes Production and Creative Media Entertainment. Joining her on this grand event are Daryl Ong, Jed Madela and the one and only Asia's Songbird Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. That's to add more reason for everyone to come and watch the show! Get your tickets now via Ticketnet or call 911-5555! See the ticket pricing below:

All the best to Jona! I know for sure that this concert will be a WIN! Can't wait to watch you live on stage again as you do what you do best... sing your heart out and amaze the crowd on every performance!

Again, don't forget to grab your tickets... SEE YOU at the Queen Of The Night Jona concert on November 25 at the Kia Theatre!

My Top 5 favorite Tori Kelly Songs... Listen to ALL of them and thank me (and Tori) later!

Because I keep her songs in my heart...
I have to (I MUST) share to the whole world, this magical feeling of listening to Tori Kelly's music...

Way back 2012, there was an incredibly talented Youtube artist named Tori Kelly who went viral for her massively AWESOME cover of Frank Ocean's Thinkin' Bout You. Here's the video:

As of this very moment, this video already earned 25,295,176 views... and counting! Woah! It's a very raw and simple cover. Nothing fancy, just pure talent! Kudos to both Tori and Angie Girl for nailing it!

Fast forward to year 2015, Tori Kelly released her debut album entitled Unbreakable Smile. Just when I thought that "yeah, she CAN sing... yeah, she CAN play guitars..." I actually didn't expect that she CAN compose songs too and SHE'S KILLING IT... She writes NOT just any songs, hers were unbelievably wonderful songs that are catchy & cool... but heartwarming & awe-inspiring at the same time...

So as promised, I will share My Top 5 favorite Tori Kelly Songs that will aim straight to your hearts! It's been really tough to pick just five among ALL of her fantastic compositions. She's too impressive like that! I have decided to share her LIVE performances of each songs... Tori's recorded tracks are extremely beautiful for our ears, but I swear.. her live performances are... definitely MIND-BLOWING!

Alright... Let's give it a GO!

5. Dear No One

Dear No One is my life's theme song! The first time I heard it, I said to myself "THIS IS MY SONG!" I owned it as if it was written for me! Seriously! It's a very straightforward song of all the independent single ladies out there who are secretly wishing/praying for someone to come into their lives who will make them realize that they are also worthy to be taken care of. And hopefully, that person will come at the right place and at the right time. (yeah, fingers pointing at me..)

4. Nobody Love

Nobody Love is a very (unique) likable and fun love song! Severe LSS awaits you after you listen to this! Her vocals are on point too! You will be caught on the groove of this song in no time! I love how Tori Kelly, herself, obviously enjoys every live performances of this song on any stage!

3. Unbreakable Smile

Another catchy song, Unbreakable Smile is the album's title track. A very sensible song from a young song writer. This, for me, is Tori Kelly being transparent and true. This song is spreading good vibes and positivity in a very effective way. Tori's Unbreakable Smile is definitely contagious!

2. Funny

Don't let the title fool you. This is not a typical comedic song, this song is not that funny at all. It relays a deeper message to everyone. It is a gentle reminder of the sad reality that everything goes around and nothing is permanent in this cruel world. We should get up when we fall down; we should smile after we cry; we should let our mistakes change us to be a better person... The lyrics actually rips your soul and tears your heart beautifully. Funny is such a lyrically amazing track.

1. I Was Made For Loving You (feat. Ed Sheeran)

It's a bit hard to find a live version of my TOP1 favorite Tori Kelly song I Was Made For Loving You, so... I grabbed this fancam video of Robyn Leonard. I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! It's a heartfelt love song and Ed Sheeran is on it, so, what more can I ask for? Tori and Ed are two of the most incredible singer-songwriter of this generation and a song from them is really something to treasure! I was ecstatic when I heard rumors of their collaboration, but I never expected it to be so good... SO, SO GOOD. I nearly cried tears of joy when I first listened to this song. That's how beautiful this song is for me... I Was Made For Loving You surely owns the top spot!
(here's a link of the official audio feat Ed Sheeran:

Whew! That's a wrap on my TOP 5!

To Tori Kelly, you are beyond amazing! Keep writing and singing songs from your heart... You don't know how much you inspire people with your music and I know that your fans will definitely testify to that. I am praying that some day, (just.. maybe... SOMEDAY...)  I will be lucky enough to see you perform live (front row) in this lifetime! And when that happens, I will sing my heart out to all of your songs until I lose my voice. I love you and your music. ALWAYS.

Just a bonus list... here are 5  Things I like about Tori (beyond her voice):
1. Her big blonde CURLS (It looks real good on her.. so, damn fine!!!)
2. Her Fashion style is always on point!
3. She's really great in playing guitars... talk about TALENT!
4. The way she talks... It's cute!
5. Her dimples on her left cheek..

And here is another bonus video of the best ever Tori Kelly live performance of her song entitled Should've Been Us that I saw on Youtube, I love how the audience harmonized in singing the back up vocals of this song... Even Tori was surprised! I bet this is one hella fun show:

Alright.. Enough of bonuses... Haha!

Just go ahead and drown more of Tori Kelly's goodness via Youtube / Spotify!
