The Trial Opens in Cinemas this October 15, 2014

Yes, we all know that John Lloyd Cruz is one of the ideal leading man, one of the most versatile and greatest Pinoy TV/Movie actors ever.. then, he will come out with a new movie, proving that what we believed-in was totally right. Directed by Chito S. Roño, THE TRIAL will be released in cinemas this October 15, 2014. Be prepared for one heart-stirring film.

Watch the trailer here:
The trailer alone is touching. Boasting off a stellar cast joining John Lloyd Cruz are premiere actors Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto, Jessy Mendiola, Enrique Gil, Sylvia Sanchez, Vince De Jesus, Vivian Velez and Benjamin Alves.
The film's story plot has two parts. First, the sweet and innocent Ronald (John Lloyd) has a mental condition wherein despite his age, he is still a graduating elementary student. His mother is a lesbian and his father is gay. Ronald got involved in a controversial scandal with his beloved teacher named Bessy (Jessy) which led to his court trial. The second part is about Ronald's lawyer (Richard) and the successful psychologist (Gretchen), the two were experiencing marital problems despite having a supposed perfect family with their son (Enrique).
John Lloyd's new role is far-off being the dashing Sir Miggy from his hit movie It Takes A Man and A Woman with Sarah Geronimo or the aggresive "Mr.Thursday" JD of The Mistress which he top-billed with Bea Alonzo. In The Trial, JLC portrays Ronald as a seemingly imperfect man who loves perfectly. I really can't wait to watch this film! Hoping that it will have a screening here in Dubai... Well anyways, to all our Kapamilyas in the Philippines, The Trial will be showing in theaters this October 15, 2014. Go out, watch and support Pinoy movies!

Another reason why I'm excited for The Trial is because of Benjamin Alves. He is a Kapuso hunk/heartthrob that I really admire because of his obvious good-looks, his oozing talent and his intelligence. I'm really glad that he is a part of this great movie project and I'm really excited to see more of Bejamin Alves in the future..
