Juan Dela Cruz NATIONWIDE advance screening, a huge success!

Juan Dela Cruz proved that it was the BIGGEST TV series of ABS-CBN this 2013 as it held a NATIONWIDE advance screening last Feb 2! Yes, they simultaneously screened a special cinema edit of the Juan Dela Cruz pilot week in Manila, Cebu and Davao! An event that held a great success!

Indeed rooting from the anticipated comeback of the "Prince of Teleserye" Coco Martin everyone was too excited for this event. I was overjoyed to be a part of this special screening. The show is definitely receiving massive support, from the ABS-CBN network heads, to the casts, other celebrities, (even) politicians, friends from the press and of course the fans!

MANILA

SM Megamall Cinema 10 was jam-packed! Here are some personalities (that I spotted) who came in to watch and support this new teleserye:
Hon. Sonny Angara with Mj Felipe
Martin Nievera being interviewed by TV crews
X Factor PH with grand winner KZ Tandingan
Julia Montes
Helen Gamboa
Charlene Gonzales
Martin Del Rosario
Karylle and Coco Quizon
They were just a few of the 'big names' who attended the said event! They were all there to support the whole cast and crew as they showcased the fruit of a long-term preparation for the teleserye that will mark Philippine TV history!
Review: Juan Dela Cruz, The Pilot Week
What can I say about the pilot week? Juan Dela Cruz is definitely a top-caliber movie-like experience in your TV screens! I was totally amazed in the scenes shot in full HD! The camera angles, the great quality, good shades of color, everything seems to be cinematic! More to being greatly appealing on-screen, the series has a great story. The pilot week showcased a history from ancient inhabitants of the Philippines and the aswang folklore. It explained on how the 'bakal na krus' earned it's power and how the fight between humans and aswangs started. An action-fantaserye indeed, the pilot week of JDC will also give us a taste of their beautifully-crafted fight scenes. Exciting! The young Juan's journey was fun, Izzy Canillo was so cute! The young Juan and Father Cito (Jaime Fabregas) shared tender scenes that are really heart-warming. JDC has it's depth and purpose, it teaches life's values. It offers moral lessons to it's audience that will not just open our minds... it will also touch our hearts. A learning and awakening experience on TV. The casts portrayed their roles remarkably. Coco Martin is a natural charmer. He showed his funny, playful but 'astig' side on this TV series. My favorite scene on the pilot week was when Juan met Rosario (Erich Gonzales) again after years. SM Megamall squealed in "kilig", everyone witnessed their overflowing on-screen chemistry. Erich was 'masungit' to the super 'presko' Coco. Cutest scene indeed! The pilot week proved that it was a series worth watching.
